ಜನಾರ್ದನ ಪೂಜಾರಿಯ ಆತ್ಮಕತೆ ಸಾಲ ಮೇಳದ ಸಂಗ್ರಾಮ ಜನವರಿ 26 ರಂದು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ
ಮಂಗಳೂರು: ಸಾಲ ಮೇಳದ ಸಂಗ್ರಾಮ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಆತ್ಮಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಜನವರಿ 26 ರಂದು ಶ್ರೀ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಕುದ್ರೋಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನೇ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡುವುದಾಗಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಮುಖಂಡ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಮಾಜಿ ಹಣಕಾಸು ಸಚಿವ ಜನಾರ್ದನ ಪೂಜಾರಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಅವರು ಸೋಮವಾರ ಸುದ್ದಿಗೋಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಆತ್ಮಕಥೆಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕವು ಒಂಬತ್ತು ಅಧ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು 210 ಪುಟಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಇಂಗ್ಲೀಷ್ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಂದಿಯ ಅನುವಾದಿತ ಕೃತಿಯೂ ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಗುರಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಅನುಭವಗಳನ್ನು ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ ಕೊಡಸೆ ಅಕ್ಷರ ರೂಪಕ್ಕಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಮತ್ತು ದೀಪಕ್ ಪೂಜಾರಿ ಪುಸ್ತಕದ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಕರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಆತ್ಮಕಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಜಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಗಳಾದ ಇಂದಿರಾ ಗಾಂಧಿ, ರಾಜೀವ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ, ಪಿ.ವಿ.ನರಸಿಂಹ ರಾವ್ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗಿನ ಒಡನಾಟ ಹಾಗೂ ನನ್ನ ಬದುಕಿನ ಬಾಲ್ಯದ ವಿವರಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಸಮಕಾಲೀನ ರಾಜಕೀಯ, ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ನೆನಪಿರುವಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ ದಾಕಲಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ದಲಿತ ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ಪಾದ ಪೂಜೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದನ್ನು, ವಿಧವೆಯರಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಈ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಪೂಜಾರಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

I respect Mr Poojary for his tremendous uplifting measures for the poor and the disadvantaged. He is far better than all the other DK leaders of both the parties.
When I get a chance I will buy a copy of his autobiography. May he live to see the dream of Modern India of his political opponents come true. Obese leaders can say what they want. But Poojary was always a fit person. Just see his photos. I am not sure if urulu seve has contributed to his fitness in some measure. May he find peace in the fact that he is an honest person as even the Cong I opponents will agree.
