“We should be careful with words and should steer clear from controversies,” union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi quoted Naidu, the parliamentary affairs minister, as saying during the parliamentary party meeting.

“They (MPs) were told not to make provocative statements as it goes against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s developmental agenda,” Naqvi told reporters after the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Bharatiya Janata party president Amit Shah, union ministers and the party’s lawmakers.

Naqvi also took a dig at the Congress for its outcry on intolerance in the country, saying that the opposition is doing this for political gains.

“The government is discussing the issue as its attitude is tolerant and is always open to discuss any issue. The opposition is not able to digest the success of the Modi government,” he said.

Naqvi claimed communal incidents have come down in the country in the recent weeks.

The BJP parliamentary party also discussed Modi’s meeting with Congress president Sonia Gandhi and former prime minister Manmohan Singh on the Goods and Services Tax (GST) bill, which is pending for clearance in parliament.

  1. BJP warns MPs against making provocative remarks.

BUT, BJP PRESIDENT AMIT SHAH IS NOT A BJP MP; AND HE WOULD CONTINUE TO MAKE PROVOCATIVE STATEMENTS TO GET MORE AND MORE BJP MEMBERS ELECTED, AS HE DID MANY TIME AND IN MANY STATES IN THE PAST!

    Dear readers,

A day after advising those “dying” to eat beef to leave for Pakistan, Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi sought to defend his stand saying faith of millions should not be hurt over choice of eating.

Not long ago he himself is embroiled in controversy due to bad taste of language. I believe BJP is affected with K.Sudarshan short time memory loss. They can’t recall what they have said before advising others.

It goes to PM Modi who himself took ‘Gaurav Yatra’ after Godhra carnage and compare the victims to puppy accidently fell under his wheels and defend the act based on action reaction theory.

    ಭಂಗೀ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಹೆಂಡಗುಡುಕ ಪೂಜಾರಿ very well suit to this BJP,party of difference.

    Jai hind

  3. Mr. Naidu, it seems like you are born-again now. You were acting like the exclusive spokesperson of the BJP at the Parliament not allowing anybody to talk, and your focusing was to enact both an anti-conversion and national beef-ban.
This has motivated the BJP politicians to talk many nonsenses before thinking about its far-reaching consequences.

What happened to the world communism? In India, it was split into Communist Party Marxist and Communist party of India. The CPM believed the Mao’s ideology of getting power through the barrel of a gun, whereas the CPI believed to get the power through democratic process. Now, the world communism in 75 years is a bygone history, and still barely breathing in India with a few blind followers.

In the BJP, there are many political leaders now acting deaf and voiceless through the dangerous piloting of the party by a very few sitting at the cockpit of a rudderless aircraft. As events are moving like this, this Government won’t finish its duration, there is grave fraction in the party. Any sermon to watch the words is too late to adopt; the cat is out of the kettle.
