MotoGP champ Lorenzo burns rubber at BIC

Greater Noida, Dec 1 (IANS) Reigning MotoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo burnt the rubber astride a Yamaha R3 as he rode for a few laps at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) here on Tuesday.

The three-time World Champion took three batches of bikers, who own R3s, around the 5.1 km circuit which was wet because of intermittent rain.

This is the second time the Spaniard is visiting India.

“I am glad to be back in India. I got to know that some fans flew almost 2,000 km to support me so thanks for that,” said the 28-year-old.
