16 killed in Nigeria suicide attacks

Abuja, Oct 7 (IANS) At least 16 people were killed on Wednesday in three suicide attacks in Nigeria’s Damaturu city, the state-run relief agency said.

The attacks that took place around 6 a.m. (local time) also left 10 people injured, Xinhua quoted Yobe State Emergency Management Agency as saying in a statement.

Two suicide bombers blew themselves up at a business district in Damaturu metropolis, the statement said.
