16-year-old student attempts Suicide, condition critical
Mangaluru: A 16-year-old student attempted to commit suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of a building at Adu Maroli here on October 7.
The student has been identified as Pratham (16) from Adu Maroli.
According to sources, Pratham before jumping from the terrace of the building left a note saying that he was not interested in life and was finding it difficult to study.
As soon as Pratham jumped from the building he was rushed to the hospital. At present he is undergoing surgery at the A J Hospital.
A case has been registered in the Kankanady Rural police station.
