BSF trooper dies in accidental firing 

Jammu, Dec 7 (IANS) A Border Security Force (BSF) trooper was killed in accidental firing in Jammu district.

The trooper from the 78 battalion, Raman Kumar, who belonged to Gurdaspur in Punjab, sustained a fatal injury when his service rifle went off accidentally on Sunday, a police officer told IANS here on Monday.

He was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
