10 killed in Pakistan’s Balochistan operation

Islamabad, Dec 23 (IANS) At least eight suspected terrorists were killed in two days of Frontier Corps (FC) operations in Pakistan’s Balochistan province.

According to the FC spokesman, the operation was launched on Tuesday after they received information about the presence of terrorists in the area, Geo News reported.

Three terrorists were killed during the first day of the operation. The spokesman said that five more terrorists were killed during an exchange of gunfire on Wednesday.

Two soldiers also died in the fighting during the operation, said a spokesman.
