17-year old Student of Alva’s College Missing

17-year-old student, Varun of Alva’s PU College in Moodbidri has gone missing since he landed at the Mulki Railway Station from his native town, Mumbai on June 1.

Mangaluru: According to Mulky Police Station on a complained filed by Rajashekar Salimath, the father of 17-year-old Varun, a student of Alva’s Pre-University college and who was staying in the college hostel has gone missing since he came back from his native town, Mumbai. Varun had visited his hometown during the holidays- on May 31, Varun had left Mumbai and got down at the Mulky station on June 1 at 7.15 a.m.

Also according to Salimath, two of his son’s co-passengers had called him to inform that Varun had got down at the Mulky station. But unfortunately, he had not been able to get in touch with his son ever since. It is learnt that the Mulky police have sent an intimation to various police stations and other public places about the disappearance of Varun. Efforts are on to trace Varun, and the police are still investigating the case.
