Jio breaks away from conservative Reliance in marketing

New Delhi, Jan 12 (IANS) Mukesh-Ambani-led Jio took to Twitter in yet another novel way for communicating its new-gen handset called LYF, adding a splash of vibrant colors to its packaging.

It aligned to an international appeal and image for aesthetics embodied by actress Nargis Fakhri (www.twitter.com/nargisfakhri).

Jio took to Twitter in a major way to launch the service for its employees on Dec 27, 2015 – #CelebratingJio trended globally as well stayed on the number one spot in 26 cities of India.

Nargis, in a tweet this evening, chose not to state what exactly the product inside is. This left all the attention on the design.

“Loving this! Design in India is surely standing out and making its mark! Way to go #LYF pic.twitter.com/iWp4xhqeBk, she tweeted, and it was widely re-tweeted and “liked” on the micro-blogging site
