‘No incriminating evidence so far against ex-Gurdaspur SP’

New Delhi, Jan 18 (IANS) Salwinder Singh, the former Gurdaspur SP who is being probed for any possible link with the Pathankot airbase attackers, has been “cooperating well” with the National Investigation Agency (NIA), official sources told IANS on Monday.

According to the sources, the investigators have so far found nothing “incriminating” that could link Salwinder with the Pathankot terror strike.

Questions are being raised why the terrorists let Salwinder off and not harmed him. There were also suspicions about his involvement with a drug smuggling cartel. However, the NIA is not specifically investigating the drug angle since that would be outside its purview. If any facts connected to the smuggling come to light, the matter would be handed over to the appropriate agency for probing, the sources said.

A source in the ministry of home affairs told IANS on condition of anonymity that Salwinder had told investigators that the terrorists let him go because he was a Sikh.“”This is not unbelievable as the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan has been trying to stoke the Khalistan movement in the north Indian state of Punjab. The ISI may have specifically briefed the terrorists not to harm any Sikh,” the source said.

Meanwhile, the investigators also got permission from a Delhi court on Monday to conduct a lie detector test on Singh. The test, the source added, was being done to be doubly sure of the facts that Salwinder had mentioned in his interrogation.

Six Pakistani terrorists — believed to be from the outlawed Jaish-e-Mohammed terror outfit — sneaked into Punjab from across the border and took the Punjab Police officer hostage before taking away his vehicle. Later, they raided the IAF base at Pathankot, killing seven security personnel.

Pakistan and ISI support Khalistan. RSS supported Khalistan from the very beginning. Vajpayee and Akali dal had pardoned the Khalistani Government in exile which waged war against India, set up a government in exile in London, issued Khalistan passport, Khalistan currency and set up Khalistan Liberation Military in Punjab and ruined India, till Indira Gandhi smashed them, in return giving up her life for India. The RSS is with them. It has formed the government in Punjab with their support. To please them the RSS is demanding re-probe about Delhi violence after assassination of Indira Gandhi. And Modi has asked agencies to investigate again and somehow fix Congress and thus, please the Khalistanis. He is not only not bothered about post Godhra massacre, he has ALSO successfully buried it and HAS become victorious by polarising the majority religion to get this favour.

LET THE COUNTRY GO TO DOGS, IF NEEDED; BUT AT ANY COST, LET RSS RULE THE COUNTRY!

    • LET THE COUNTRY GO TO DOGS, IF NEEDED; BUT AT ANY COST, LET RSS RULE THE COUNTRY! – Mr. BN Pai

There used to be this recurring theme during the summer of 2014 – “Bahut hui mahangayi ki maar, ab ki baar Modi sarkar” or that there has been enough of inflation, now is the need for Modi government.

I wonder what the Finance Ministry thinks about it, now that the consumer inflation (CPI) stands at 5.61 per cent for December 2015, rising for the fifth straight month and at the highest in 15 months. The inflation for rural consumers and in pulses stood at much higher 6.32 per cent and 46 per cent respectively. At the same time, the midyear assessment of the Finance Ministry predicts inflation to cross 6 per cent + level in early 2016 while the GDP growth forecast has been downgraded to 7-7.5 per cent as against 8.1-8.5 per cent as predicted in the economic survey by the same ministry earlier this year.

Doesn’t the government find it tragic that the farmers staying in rural areas, already in the gloom of two failed droughts which have damaged four consecutive harvests, have to bear the maximum brunt of growing inflation in this country? 5.61 per cent inflation may seem a moderate rise in isolation but any economist will tell you it’s a worrying statistic when the world prices are rising at just 0-0.5 per cent rate and when the India’s crude oil basket is at 12 year low of $28.73.

Mr. BN Pai, wasn’t there a time when the Modi sarkar promised us stuff such as:

      1. The value of 1 USD would be = 39 ₹ (Our very Honorable Minister for HRD’s age) within some 6 months or so and later fall as low as AbRam Khan (SRK’s sons) age of approx. 2.64 (as on today)? Instead, 1 USD had crossed our beloved Pradhana Sevaka’s age of 65.39 (as on today) and has touched 67.57! Do you think it will touch our srimana Margadarshaka Advani’jis age of 88+?

      2. Well, I won’t even bring up the topic of 15 Lakhs to my account BECAUSE I know it is very SAFE wherever (Switzerland, Mauritius, Liechtenstein, British Virgin Islands etc) it is parked. Moreover, I’m quite positive that the Modi Sarkar HAS made a provision of chalking-up an annual interest of 18%/annum (from 26 May 2014) on that figure for any delays.

      3. Mr. BN Pai…. please feel free to add on…

      • Praveen – “USD had crossed our beloved Pradhana Sevaka’s age of 65.39 (as on today) and has touched 67.57! Do you think it will touch our srimana Margadarshaka Advani’jis age of 88+?”

Sir, it crossed 68 today, and would reach the maiden century by any P. M; very soon! All credit goes to Modi, and Modi alone!
