B-town lauds ‘Udta Punjab’ trailer

Mumbai, April 17 (IANS) B-town celebrities showered praise for the trailer of Abhishek Chaubey’s film “Udta Punjab” which highlights the rampant issue of drug abuse among youth in Punjab.

While actor Anupam Kher called the trailer “raw, real and on fire”, director Madhur Bhandarkar called it “reality packed”.

Here is what the tinsel town had to say about the trailer:

Anupam Kher: Shahid Kapoor, loved the trailer of ‘Udta Punjab’. Raw, Real and on fire. I love everyone in it, but you seem lethal in the film.

Madhur Bhandarkar: Wow! Reality packed trailer of ‘Udta Punjab’.

Riteish Deshmukh: Brilliant actors, Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Diljit Dosanjh. Kareena in a brilliant promo. Stakes just got high, high, higher. Bravo.

Emraan Hashmi: Alia Bhatt, awesome promo of ‘Udta Punjab’. Loved it… Way to go!

Prashant Singh: It takes you inside a disjointed world on a trippy train and you don’t even realise it! Wow! So gritty, intriguing and edgy with all the eccentricities! Mind blowing!
