27-year-old Man Dies after Unidentified Persons assault him
Mangaluru: A 27-year-old man died on October 23, after being attacked by unidentified persons, when he was on his morning walk, near Ganesh Mahal, Asaigoli on October 22.
The deceased has been identified as Karthik Raj (27), a resident of Sudarshan Nagar, Fajir.
On October 22, at around 5:30 am Karthik was found in a pool of blood near Ganesh Mahal, Asaigoli. Everyday Karthik used to go for a morning walk and then used to go to the gym. As usual, on October 22, while he was on his morning walk, some unidentified persons assaulted him. Karthik was severely injured.
Some passerby noticed him and informed the police. The police immediately rushed him to the hospital in Derlakatte. On October 23, Karthik succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
