3-day Organic Mango Mela Opens in Mysuru

Mysuru: A 3-day organic mango festival is being organized by Dhatu Organics and Naturals in Kuvempunagar here.
It was inaugurated by MLA M K Somashekar on June 3. Farmers Lalita and Sheshadri joined in lighting the inaugural lamp.
Many traditional dishes and delicacies like Mango Srikhand, Mango Payasa, Mango Obbattu, Mavinakai Millet Rice, Mango Lassi, Mango Milkshake, Mango Ice Cream, Mango Thokku are on sale, as also a variety of mangoes like Kesar, Alphonso, Banganapalli, Mallika, Badami, Raspuri, Sindoora and Totapuri.
Besides, awareness is also created about organic farming and natural ripening of the fruit.
The exhibition will be open from 10:30am to 9:00pm on all days.
