34 schools register 100 pc results in SSLC in Udupi district – DDPI Divakar Shetty

Udupi: A total of 34 schools have secured cent percent results in the SSLC examinations in Udupi district said Divakar Shetty DDPI Udupi district.

He was speaking to the media persons on Tuesday May 17 at his office, he said that the results include eight government high schools, two Aided high schools and 24 unaided schools in the district. Last year, as many as 71 schools had secured cent percent results. Udupi district has secured 89.52 pass percentage and stood second in the state.

Shashikanth who is studying in Mookambika School in Hosur, has Highest percentage in the Kannada Medium. Three students of Kundapur Taluk have scored 622/625 marks in the English medium Section.

Chaithra Shanbogue, who is studying in SVS English Medium High School Gangoly, Kundapur, Venkatesh Puranik of Government High School Basrur and Vivek Giridhar Pai from VKR English Medium School has scored 622 marks.



As many as 15291 out of the 16084 students who appeared for the examination have passed. When it comes to regular students, the district has achieved 89.52 percent with 15291 students out of the 16984 clearing the exams.

As many as 427 students had written the exams privately. Out of which, 58 have passed with a passing percentage of 13.58 percent. As many as 2004 SC/ST students had written the exam, out of which 1633 have passed, he added.
