Mangaluru: Silver Bracelet Snatched from Shopper near Central Market in Broad Daylight

Mangaluru: Ashok Basavanagouda Patil is engaged in the profession of moving and arranging fish storing crates at the old port.

As he was getting set to go to his native place one of these days, he had arrived at the central market on Wednesday with Rs 18,000 in his pocket to buy clothes and gifts for his dear ones back home.

Two strangers suddenly assaulted him and snatched a bag and a silver bracelet he had on him. It all happened in a split second. Before he could recover and raise an alarm, the duo had fled.

The passersby got him admitted to the Wenlock hospital. A case has been registered at the Bunder police station.
