A Chance of a Lifetime

Vacation?s over and we?re all just getting back into our normal daily stride. I again want to thank everyone who submitted their touching essays. The winner this time around is

 Elizabeth Saldahna, From Canada

-who wrote a heart felt essay about the gift of being able to go visit her family in India for the first time in several years. Congratulations Elizabeth!

With it February on its way, I wanted to remind everyone to savor youth as much as we can. School and homework should always come first, and success should always be one of the most important goals in life, but to enjoy our younger years is an important aspect as well.  ?Young people are in a condition like permanent intoxication, because youth is sweet and they are growing.?

Savor the moments of youth because they will never come back. This is our one chance to truly enjoy life in our ?carefree? manner-even though school brings many stressors with it. The ability to be a child/teen will never come back once it?s over. Live each day to the fullest, and enjoy every moment.

Life is everywhere. The earth is throbbing with it, it’s like music. The plants, the creatures, the ones we see, the ones we don’t see, it’s like one, big, pulsating symphony.” Life is something like an adventure. Opportunities arise everyday. People take on challenges and grow more than they had ever thought possible.

?Young people have an almost biological destiny to be hopeful.? We should never lose that hope of promise for the future.
