AAP lawmaker Alka Lamba attacked during anti-drug drive in Delhi

Aug 9, 2015, Agencies: Unidentified miscreants attacked AAP lawmaker Alka Lamba today morning, during an anti-drug drive at Kashmere Gate in north Delhi. The miscreants hurled stones at her leading to head injuries.


Following the attack, Alka Lamba was rushed to Aruna Asaf Ali hospital.

Delhi police has detained one person in connection to the attack. The arrested person is being interrgated by the police.

After learning about the attack, Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal tweeted:
