Abu Dhabi: Al Sitara Hosts Grand Iftar Meet

Abu Dhabi: Al Sitara Gulf Contractors & General Maintenance company owned by renowned Kannadiga NRI Businessman, philanthropist Mohammed Akram hosted a Grand Iftar Get-together at Ibrahim restaurant Abu Dhabi recently, for NRI Kannadigas and staff with their family.

Every year Al Sitara company is organising the iftar meet, in light of friendship, sharing and caring. The event was well attended with distinguished guests from Karnataka NRI community.

Mohammed Akram is known for his social service and is associated with All NRI Kannadiga events. He welcomed the gathering, expressed his gratitude towards all for gracing the occasion. “Fasting is observed by different religions in different ways. Fasting purifies human being physically and mentally by preventing man from all kinds of evils and instils spiritual values in his mind. Today we live in a society which is shattered with evils. Vulgarity, fornication, immorality and filthy acts are widespread. Fasting can eradicate those evils and transform a man completely and enable him to lead a better life,” he said.

All the guests had a sumptuous IFTAR, which was highly appreciated by one and all. Mohammed Sufiyan, Mohammed Saad, Mohammed Sabih, Tahir Hussain, Altaf Ms, Irfan, Imran, Ahmed Hussain, Abdul Raheem, Saleem shaikh, Muneer shaikh, Ajmal, Khamaruddin, Rasheed, Lateef, Ahmed Pervez, Kamil and other dignitaries were present during the meet.

Al Sitara office staff Mohammed Ilyas, Faiz Patel, Sabastian, Mohammed Zaman, Faraz Ahmed, Rashi and Santosh, Engineering team Shiv Prasad, shaheed, Siraj, Kishore, Naseem, PRO Mohammed Majdi and family made the event a memorable one.
