Agyness Deyn believes she hasn’t changed as a person

Los Angeles, Nov 29 (IANS) Model-turned-actress Agyness Deyn, who divorced actor Giovanni Ribisi earlier this year, says she has a lot more life experience to draw on these days, but doesn’t think she’s changed as a person.

“I am the same as when I was a child. I just have a lot more experience. I am inherently the same person but I just know a few more things,” Deyn was quoted as saying by Grazia magazine, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Deyn quit modelling when she was at the peak of her popularity, and with hindsight she can see it was a “crazy” decision.

“It wasn’t as if my career had started to decrease. I stopped modelling when things were going good. I look back and think it’s kind of crazy I did that,” she said.

But the “Sunset Song” star thinks it was the right thing to do because being celebrated just for her looks began to take its toll on her.

“If someone is patting you on the back and being like, ‘You’re great, the way you look is great’, that’s where it becomes a little off kilter because maybe you don’t feel that way inside,” she said.
