Air India connects Mumbai to Surat and Gwalior

Mumbai, Dec 25 (IANS) National passenger carrier Air India on Friday increased its regional connectivity by commencing flight operations to Surat and Gwalior from Mumbai.

According to the airline, both flights — Mumbai-Surat-Mumbai and Mumbai-Gwalior-Mumbai will operate three times a week on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The flights will be operated on ATR 72-600 aircraft.

“The newly launched operations will significantly boost connectivity of these two cities to Mumbai and will be a boon to fliers looking for business opportunities or leisure travel to and from Mumbai,” the airline was quoted as saying in a statement.
