Air Pegasus to launch daily Bangalore-Madurai flight from June 26

  • Adds fourth city on its route-map

Bengaluru: Taking its footprint to the fourth city in South India in less than three months after the first launch in April, Air Pegasus is set to launch thrice a week flight to Madurai from Bangalore starting June 26 at Rs 1234 .Bookings are open.

Since April, Air Pegasus has launched its flight service to Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, Hubli in Karnataka, Cudappah in Andhra Pradesh.

The flight to Madurai will leave Bangalore on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and return on the same day.
The flight will depart from Bangalore 10.40 hours and arrive at Madurai at 1200 hours and will return from Madurai at12.30 hours and arrive at Bangalore at 13.50 hours

“As the third largest city of Tamil Nadu after Chennai and Coimbatore, the new flight service is set to add significant value to the economy of Madurai, which is also called as the Athens of the East for its cultural heritage. Moreover, we are the sole operator to Madurai from Bangalore,” said Shyson Thomas Managing Director Air Pegasus. This will give leisure travelers a significant boost to explore the rich cultural city of Madurai

Decor Aviation, which owns and operates Air Pegasus, is part of the Decor Group of Companies providing ground handling services to Indian and foreign carriers across 11 airports in India.

Based out of the Kempegowda International Airport in Bangalore, Air Pegasus will subsequently scale up its services gradually to connect Kochi, Chennai, Belgaum, Rajahmundry and Pondicherry and several more cities in the region.
