Jebel Hafeet Mountain is situated in Al Ain –  UAE and it takes approximately 1 1/2 hours drive from Dubai & Sharjah and 2 hours from Abu Dhabi.  Jebel Hafeet, is UAE’s  highest mountain and a popular tourist destination in UAE. This mountain is actually situated in the south of Al Ain city, and straddles the border between Oman and UAE.



The peak provides a viewpoint, at a height of some 1,250 metres above sea level and you can see the entire Al City, Ain Al Faydah and Mubazzarah gardens (greenery) down in the foothills. The photographs will definitely give a glimpse of this beautiful peak in the UAE.



There are three stages you need to cross before reaching the top of the mountain. You can park your vehicle in the parking lot provided at each stage and catch a glimpse of the mountain below and experience the thrill of driving higher and higher.



Mubazzarah garden which is at the foothill is totally green and pleasing to the eyes. You will find chalets (approx Dhs. 300 for two bedroom) and is a beautiful picnic spot and an ideal place for overnight camping too. There are hot water springs at three different locations here. This hot water keeps recycling and is believed to cure many ailments.

Once you are on the top of the mountain you feel as though you are on the top of the world and when you keep looking below you can get a clear view of the entire Al Ain City and the landscape which is mainly a desert area.
