Los Angeles, Jan 24 (IANS) Singer Alice Cooper says he doesn’t like the fact that people’s life revolves around their phone.
The 67-year-old, who started his rock career at a time when there were no phones and such electronic devices, says that he misplaces his phone as he doesn’t like the fact that we have our world revolving around it, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“I lose my phone probably twice a day and it’s because I really don’t like it. I don’t like the idea that you’re locked into this thing which your whole world revolves around.
“I just carry a little flip-phone to call my wife and kids or my road manager, not the sort that can call in air strikes on Iraq like most people have,” Q magazine quoted Cooper as saying.
The “Poison” hitmaker accepts he can’t get away without actually having a phone because his wife Sheryl Goddard whom he has been married to since 1976 and has three children — Calico, Dashiell and Sonora — would be left wondering where he is all the time.
Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick on good terms
Reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian is on good terms with former boyfriend Scott Disick, with whom she has three children.
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star, who ended her relationship with Disick after nine years, says they are amicable for the sake of the children, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“The kids are doing great and Scott and I have a good system figured out now so I feel we’re on a good routine. The most important thing is the children having stability and Scott and I being on good terms for their sakes,” Closer magazine quoted Kourtney as saying.
The 36-year-old who separated from the 32-year-old in July last year has three children, Mason, six, Penelope, three, and Reign, 13 months with the latter.
Gwyneth Paltrow launches new skincare range
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has launched a skincare range to follow her new Goop by Juice Beauty make-up line.
Her new range consists of organic cosmetics made from botanical juices, waxes and powders. The “Mortdecai” actress shared that she has been busy creating day and night skin creams and cleansers which will debut in March, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
The 43-year-old’s Goop by Juice Beauty skincare includes six vegan and organically formulated products.
“We absorb 60 to 80 percent of what we put on our skin. So the idea that you’re exercising and trying to eat well and then slathering yourself with chemicals, parabens, and silicones — it’s not great,” Vogue magazine quoted Paltrow as saying.
It took over a year for the 43-year-old stunner to create the products and she says she finds it more important nowadays to follow a skincare regime.
“I used to just splash water on my face and stick on some moisturizer. But now I do a regimen regularly,” she said.
Kendall, Kylie Jenner’s clothing line to launch next month
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” stars Kendall and Kylie Jenner are set to release their latest Kendall + Kylie collection before New York Fashion Week begins on February 8.
The items will include black and white dresses as well as some pale pink items. Stores such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Shopbop, Lord & Taylor and Revolve will have the siblings’ clothing line, reports femalefirst.co.uk
The two sisters gave their fans a sneak peek of their collection through their joint Kendall + Kylie Instagram account, which has over a million followers.
The sisters also posted an inspirational quote on their Instagram account which read: “Forget the rules if you like it wear it. Feel good. look good. the mantra (sic).”
Harry Styles cheating on Kendall Jenner?
One Direction star Harry Styles is reportedly cheating on model Kendall Jenner.
Styles is said to have spent a night with fashion stylist Pandora Lennard, 27, even though he is currently dating Jenner, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“Everyone knew they were attracted to each other and they have been pals for a while. But we didn’t think anything would happen as Harry and Kendall are officially an item. This is gobsmacking,” The Sun newspaper quoted a source as saying.
Lennard is the founder of the Anti-Agency modelling company and has worked with famous faces like Little Mix, Fifth Harmony and Jessie J.
Asked about her reported fling with Styles, Lennard said: “I have absolutely no comment to make.”
David Bowie strangled me, claims ex-wife
Late singer David Bowie’s former wife Angie has claimed that the legendary icon once tried to kill her with his bare hands.
The 66-year-old model, who was married to Bowie from 1970 until 1980, recalled how he tried to strangle her under the influence of drugs after she snapped at the musician’s assistant and lover Corinne Schwab, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“It was awful. We were in a house that Corinne had found for us, in a dark hollow in Los Angeles. David was high. I questioned Corinne rather sharply about the amount of baggage she had assembled for a trip to Jamaica, where David was going to record,” The Sun quoted the 66-year-old as saying.
“She snapped at me, so I snapped back at her, ‘Don’t you dare talk to me like that’. Suddenly David hurtled across the room. He grabbed my throat with both hands and started squeezing. He was blindly angry, yelling at me as he tightened his grip, and I started panicking,” she added.
Angie admitted she was left fearing for her life and claimed the incident ended when Schwab dragged him away.
“It didn’t feel as if he was going to stop. Corinne pulled him off and saved me. So it’s possible that I owe her my life. The fact that she did save me must have p***ed her off afterwards,” she said.
