Animal caretaker Sudheendra Aithal assaulted by Employee

Udupi: Well-known animal caretaker Sudhindra Aithal was assaulted by his employee Parameshi on Thursday, June 16.

According to sources, Aithal was milking a cow in the cowshed when Parameshi suddenly attacked him. When Aithal screamed for help, the neighbours came and helped him.

Aithal was injured in the chest and legs. He was taken to a private hospital in Koteshwar where he was treated as an outpatient. It is suspected that a financial matter was the reason for the assault.

Sudheendra Aithal is an animal lover and has been running an animal care centre for several years in Saligrama of Udupi district.

A case has been registered in the Kota Police Station.
