Artist creates Eco-Friendly Paper Ganesha Idol in City

Udupi: In order to encourage eco-friendly work and creative art in a different and unique way the Manipal Sand-art artist created Ganesha Idol by using drawing sheets.

The artwork using eco-friendly paper materials was shaped into the idol of Lord Ganesh, by Udupi district’s popular artists Srinath Manipal, Ravi Hirebettu and Venki Palimaru from Manipal Sand art. This artwork has been installed at Bhavani Enterprises near Court Back Road.

This unique Ten feet high Ganesha artwork was created using 4 KG Greeting Card papers, Drawing sheets, Gum and such other eco-friendly materials. The aim is to create awareness to avoid plaster of Paris Ganesha Idols and protect the environment and nature.
