B-Town congratulates new bride Urmila Matondkar

Mumbai, March 4 (IANS) Celebrities including veterans like Rishi Kapoor and Anupam Kher have congratulated Bollywood’s “Masoom” actress Urmila Matondkar, who surprised the fraternity at large when she announced her marriage to Kashmir-based businessman and model Mohsin Akhtar Mir.

Urmila, 42, looked resplendent as a bride in a red and salmon pink Manish Malhotra creation, as she tied the knot with Mir in a ceremony attended only by her close family members and the designer — on Thursday. The wedding was duly performed as per Hindu rituals at Urmila’s residence.

B-Town actors wished the couple on social media, and called Urmila the “most beautiful bride”.

Rishi Kapoor: Urmila who played my daughter like, sister and lover in films. Wish you all the best in your married life. God Bless! Okkiieeeee. Daughter like in “Masoom”. Sister in “Bade Ghar Ki Beti” and lover in “Shreeman Aashiq”. Another world record of sorts, lol.

Ram Gopal Varma: Extremely happy to hear news about the most beautiful actress I ever worked with. I wish from heart that her life will be “Rangeela” forever.

Anupam Kher: Congratulations Urmila Matondkar for your wedding. May you have a great married life.:).
