Sydney, July 24 (IANS) A six-week old girl was found dead in a low-income home in Australia with her throat slit and other multiple stab wounds, media reported on Friday.

New South Wales police said the child was found dead at the home in Wallsend, near Newcastle, approximately 150 kms north of Sydney on Friday morning, reported Xinhua news agency.
