Baghdad car bombing kills 10

Baghdad, Aug 15 (IANS) At least 10 people were killed and 70 wounded when a car bomb exploded at a car exhibition in Baghdad on Saturday, police sources said.

The car bomb exploded in Sadr City in eastern Baghdad, the source told Xinhua.

He said 70 people were wounded, some of them seriously, and were rushed to hospitals.

Security forces have cordoned off the area in a bid to prevent further attacks.

The blast came a day after the explosion of a truck bomb in a market in the same city, which killed more than 50 people and wounded over 100 others.
