Banishment of Two Trouble-makers from Puttur Ordered

Puttur: Revenue assistant commissioner and ex-officio subdivisional magistrate Dr Rajendra K V has ordered the banishment of two habitual trouble-makers from his jurisdiction.

Shakeel, a resident of Koornadka here and Dhanyakumar of Belandur, have been reportedly indulging in activities which are prejudicial to public peace and social harmony. They belong to two different faiths and they allegedly targeted persons from each other’s side.

A report in this connection had been submitted by the assistant superintendent of police to the subdivisional magistrate.

Accordingly, the two have been ordered to stay out of the Puttur subdivision limits. Prior to any court appearance, it is mandatory for them to obtain prior permission from the ASP. The order will remain in force for six months.
