Bantwal: 16-year-old Pilgrim from Chendtimar Dies of Cardiac Failure at Sabarimala

Bantwal: It is a rare case to hear of persons dying of cardiac failure at a very young age. But occasionally it does happen in the modern times.

Niket Kumar (16), son of Ram Kulal of Chendtimar in the taluk and a student of SVS High School, is reported to have died in Kerala on Wednesday, during the final stage of Sabarimala pilgrimage of this seas, his family sources said.

He suffered a heart attack and was rushed to a hospital in Kottayam but his life could not be saved.

His mortal remains were brought to his native village. His final rites were held in the Hindu crematorium in Baddadka.
