Bantwal: Chaitra (19) of Kulalu in Kolnadu village and Mahesh (25) of Kotikere near Kashimath in Vittal had been reported to be missing by their respective families since Feb 13.
They had filed separate complaints at the Vittal police station. They are said to have eloped and got secretly married in Dharmasthala. Thereafter they stayed in Subrahmanya. When they read the reports about their disappearance in newspapers, both of them reported at the police station there.
On receiving information from their Subrahmanya counterparts, the Vittal police went there and brought them to their station. Both families were summoned for talks. Thereafter, the woman accompanied the husband to his home.
