Bantwal: Woman Injured in Bike Hit in Panemangaluru Dies in Hospital

Bantwal: Leela Mardoli (52), wife of the late Chennayya Moolya and a resident of Panemangaluru in the taluk, was hit by a Yamaha bike while walking on the road.

She rolled bidis for a living and was on her way to take her stock to a collection centre. Upon being hit by the bike and severely injured, she was taken to a private hospital in Mangaluru. But her life could not be saved.

She is survived by her mother and a son.
