Basheer Assaulted at Kottara Chowki, Succumbs to Injuries
Mangaluru: The injured person in the assault breathed his last on January 7, after three days of attack which took place near Kottara Chowki on January 3.
The deceased Basheer (47) was attacked by a group when he was closing his fast food shop at Kottara Chowki on January 3 night.
Basheer (47) was assaulted with lethal weapons on the night of Wednesday, January 3 at Kottara Chowki allegedly in retaliation for the murder of Deepak Rao at Katipalla on the same day.
In the assault, four youth have been arrested by the CCB police. During interrogation, the accused revealed that they had assaulted Basheer in revenge for Deepak’s murder.
