BD and VHP Kundapur stage Protest against Minister Ramanath Rai

Kundapur: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal Kundapur Unit held a protest on Monday, June 19 at the Shastri Circle against Minister Ramanath Rai for pressurising the DK SP to book RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat under IPC Section 307 in connection with the Kalladka Violence.

RSS leader Subramanya Holla addressing the protesters said that after the Congress government came to power the state has witnessed many cases of murder of the RSS workers. If any Hindu youth raises his voice against cow slaughter or Love Jihad they will be killed openly on the road. The state government has failed to give justice in these murders. The state government is, “Indulging in vote bank politics thereby making a mockery of democracy. Now Minister Ramanath Rai is planning to control Prabhakar Bhat using the police. But he doesn’t know the capacity of Prabhakar Bhat. If he touches Bhat, he will face a big problem, he warned.

Ramanath Rai is not a common man, he is an elected representative. He is representing the state as a minister. Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat is a top leader of the RSS. He is leading 4 states as RSS Pracharak. The minister is misusing the Police officers to arrest the innocent and for levelling allegations against honest police officers in connection with the Kalladka incident.

A number of communal incidents have taken place in the district during the congress rule. Targeting one particular community and directing the police to arrest the community members shows Rai’s true colours. The Hindu community is also ready to give the right answer for this. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah should drop Rai from his Cabinet, he added.

Aravind Koteswar of HJV, Rajesh Kaveri of BJP also spoke on the occasion. Surendra Markodu, Mahesh Poojary, Shanker, Vadiraja Bha, Annappa, Sudhir Bhandary, Ashok Kageri, Bhaskar Billava and others were present.
