Beltangady: Complaint against State’s Lokayukta Filed in Town Police Station!

Beltangady: The turmoil inside the state Lokayukta set-up in Bengaluru continues after charges of corruption were being levelled against some prominent persons at the top.

Now a journalist from here has hit the headlines in his own way by filing a complaint against Justice Y Bhaskar Rao and his son Ashwin at the town police station here.

Deviprasad, editor of Jai Kannadamma weekly paper, has stated in his complaint that the charges suggested that Justice Rao and his son not only abetted corruption but also made the public to lose trust in the institution of Lokayukta itself.

Deviprasad informed at a media meet here that the police had accepted the complaint. He urged the police to file cases against the persons concerned since indulging in corruption was a criminal offence.
