Bengaluru: 28-year-old man Killed in Road Mishap at Mathikere

Bengaluru: A 28-year-old man was killed when his bike was knocked down by a water tanker at Mathikere, north Bengaluru here, on February 21.

The deceased has been identified as Bugappa (28). He was riding towards Yeshwantpur railway station to pick his wife and child up from the Railway station.  Bugappa’s wife Mallamma and his 2-year-old daughter were returning from a holiday in Yadgir.

The incident took place when Bugappa was taking a right turn at Mathikere II Main, when the water tanker, going towards the Yeshwantpur market, hit his two-wheeler. Bugappa lost his balance and fell on the road and came under the wheels of the water tanker. He died on the way to the hospital. Police have arrested the tanker driver Bheemappa.
