Bengaluru: ATM Robbery Bid Fails, Man arrested While on Act

Bengaluru: An attempt to break open a teller machine (ATM) was foiled at Tigalarapalya, Tavarekere here on September 25.

Lokesh, a security guard who was posted at the kiosk, was returning after having tea in the canteen at around 2:45 am and saw a man trying to break open the teller machine (ATM). Lokesh immediately got into action and caught the man. He also alerted the other security personnel.

The police who were informed reached the spot immediately and took the man into their custody. The arrested has been identified as Chandrashekar (30), an employee in a garment factory.
