Bengaluru: Pooja (24), a resident of Byatarayanahalli working as a consultant in a job portal, jumped off the 10th floor of Prestige Obelisk building around 2-30 pm on Monday, Dec 7.
Her colleagues said that she was in love with a young man called Charan. They reportedly worked together in the office of the portal on the 5th floor of the building.
He had died in road mishap in Hunsemaranahalli in Yalahanka on Ballari road on Dec 5 while on a picnic to Nandi hills with his friends. She had attended his funeral. Ever since she was said to be in a depressed state.
Although it looked to be a suicide case, said a police official, they are investigating the case since she has left behind a suicide note. Her handwriting is to be verified.
In the note, she has asked her parents to forgive her. While saying that she should not be doing it, she has ended by writing, “Charan, I cannot live without you.”
