Bengaluru: Girish G Kamath of Udupi Origin Dies in Road Mishap on Way Home

Bengaluru: Girish G Kamath (42), of Udupi origin and a resident of Kabini apartments in Kengeri Satellite Town on the outskirts, died in tragic road mishap on Thursday night.
He was employed in the finance section of a five-star hotel located on Vittal Mallya Road in the city. It was his routine to commute to and from the office riding his motorbike. After office hours on Thursday, as usual, he was on his way back towards home.
When he reached the Rajarajeshwari gate near Gopalan Arcade on Mysuru road, a tipper lorry rammed his bike from behind and sped away. As he lay in a critical condition with severe injuries, he was shifted to the BGS hospital on Uttarahalli road. But he succumbed to the injuries there.
A case has been registered in the Byatarayanapura traffic police station. A search is on for the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run incident.
