Bengaluru: High Court Grants Bail to 13 Accused in Attavar Assault Case

Bengaluru: A staffer of a mall in Attavar in Mangaluru had been stripped, bound to an electric pole and assaulted by a group of persons, allegedly belonging to a right-wing organization, some time ago.

The police had arrested 16 persons in connection with the case. One of them had recently secured bail. On Wednesday, the high court has granted bail to 13 others. Two more are still in custody.

They had knocked the doors of the high court after the II JMFC court in Mangaluru had rejected their bail applications.
