Bengaluru: Oct 18, 2015, DHNS: A 24-year-old sex worker has reported to the police that six men took turns to rape her near Doddahallahalli in Ramanagar district on Saturday night.

The woman, who is from Kengeri, was asked by her pimp named Jagadish to go with a “customer”. Later, five friends of the customer joined him. They all went to Doddahallahalli where three of them got down to buy liquor. They then headed for a secluded spot nearby and had drinks. They also made the woman drink liquor. Then, in an inebriated state, all of them had sex with her. Three of them left after some time while the others stayed put to spend some more time with her.

They gave her Rs 2,000 in cash but she asked for more. They got angry and beat her up and even took back the money they had paid her. They bundled her into their car and later pushed her out of it near Doddahallahalli Circle and drove on.

Around 2 am, the woman called the Sathanur police station. Policemen rushed to the spot and rescued her. She later underwent medical examination. A senior police officer said that based on the woman’s complaint, a case had been registered under Section 376(B) of the IPC.
