She has alleged that one Madhusudan Gowda has been posting highly objectionable and indecent comments on her Facebook wall. The post also contain threat, she has alleged.

He has threatened her that even his name was blocked, comments would be posted in different accounts.

The police said that the comments were simply nauseating. Even decent persons would not be able even to read them. Often fictiotious user names are used to denigrate those they hate. It is possible that Madhusudan Gowda could be a fake name, although a photo appears therewith.

They have said that all right-thinking persons should petition to the owners of the social media sites to monitor and moderate the comments on their pages and to block misuse.

Speaking to this correspondent, a top police officer said that such comments are put by people without character and courage, taking shelter of the Internet freedom. He precisely put it as ‘ShikhanDi yuddha’ with an allusion to the epic of Mahabharat.

  1. Clearly, the message posted by Mr.Gowda or whoever is in very poor taste. It’s quite clear that he is trolling her!! He may have some mental issue too. To be fair, I didn’t see any ‘threat’ in the message shown above even though the language and content is beyond nauseating.

This is unfortunately the new reality in the world of internet and social media. There is no way you can police everyone. I think Facebook provides enough tools to screen posts before making them public. I would encourage everyone to use these tools to effectively block, censor unwanted characters. As long as there are no threats, I think it is a waste of time to spend resources to catch a mentally sick guy!

  2. She tried to get attention for only one month October, 2015. Must have made enough money with that attention to make a movie. Why do you need a face for your social media profile, anyway, people know to hack, mine has been hacked by curious Kannada writer stalkers for the past four years, which i am aware of, not sure if it was hacked before those four years. they just love me, for content, cant let go of me.
