Bengaluru: Three Held Selling Ganja

Bengaluru: The Girinagar police arrested three persons for selling ganja here, on December 13.

According to the police, the accused have been identified as Venkatesh (38) from Gavinagamangala village, Santhosh (26) from Nagadevanahalli near Kengeri and Hemanth (21) from Mudalapalya, Bengaluru.

The police have seized 6.6 kg of ganja valued at Rs 70000 and Rs 900 in cash from the trio. The police nabbed the accused based on a tip-off when they were trying to sell ganja in front of PESIT on the 100 feet Ring Road at Hosakerehalli.

According to sources, Santhosh procured ganja from various sources in and around Magadi town. They would then sell it to IT professionals and students from reputed colleges. The accused were produced before the magistrate and are in judicial custody.
