As the two teams — Acers and Hunters — entered the arena, they were welcomed by Bhangra dancers showing off their energetic moves to the tunes of the dhol.

Captain of the visiting team Jwala Gutta and teammate Parupalli Kashyap threw some of their team’s merchandise to reward the loudest fans in the stadium, who were blowing their whistles and horns and waving the team flags continuously.

The capital will see action between the Acers and Bengaluru Top Guns on Friday before the league proceeds to Hyderabad for the fourth and penultimate leg of the tournament.
