Bieber’s emotional tribute to Christina Grimmie

Ottawa, June 15 (IANS) Pop star Justin Bieber paid an emotional tribute to the late “The Voice” singer Christina Grimmie at a concert.

The 22-year-old heartthrob recently took out time during his concert in Winnipeg, Canada to remember Grimmie, who was shot and killed on June 10 in Orlando, US, reports aceshowbiz.com.

In one video taken and shared online by a concert goer, Bieber is seen lying on the floor and heard singing, “Grimmie, can you hear me?” in between lyrics of his song “Purpose”.

He appears to be wiping tears off his face with his arm.

Grimmie was fatally shot while she was signing autographs and selling merchandise after her show in Orlando late last week. The shooter named Kevin James Loibl killed himself after committing the crime.

Grimmie was friend with Bieber’s former girlfriend Selena Gomez as the two toured together years ago. The late star was managed by Gomez’s stepfather Brian Teefey.

Sarah Jessica Parker surprises brides with free shoes

Los Angeles, June 15 (IANS) Actress Sarah Jessica Parker surprised three brides by gifting them shoes from her SJP Collection during their wedding dress fittings.

Brides-to-be Taylor-Rey, Hilary and Kaitlin were all having their dress and accessories fittings when the actress entered the store with a cart full of her designs and shared: “I think I’m more excited than anybody.”

The moment was captured on video for Brides magazine, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Meanwhile, Parker, who wore a black dress for her own wedding to Matthew Broderick in 1997, recently said that if she was getting married again, she would have gone for a more traditional gown.

She said: “If I were getting married today, I’d likely wear cream, just to have that bridal experience. Now I would want my dress to have an Oscar de la Renta feel, pockets below the waist, a very fitted bodice, a huge skirt, in taffeta or duchesse satin. That silhouette appeals to me because it’s old-fashioned yet can look very modern.”

And the “Sex and the City” star only considers her own opinion when buying shoes for herself.

She said: “I think about not what I find sexy or what I think makes me look good; I wear what makes me feel good. And I don’t mean that’s a practical decision. It’s not like a heel feels great all day long.

“I can’t think about somebody else. If I’m that results oriented, then it’s not going to be me and it’s not going to be sexy, because I’m going to be wearing somebody else’s idea of sexy.”

Reese Witherspoon tells stories through fashion

Los Angeles, June 15 (IANS) Actress Reese Witherspoon likes to be able to tell a story through fashion and says she is “very motivated” to tell stories that haven’t yet been told.

“The South is on fire right now. I’m a storyteller, and fashion is storytelling, too. This has put me in a new sphere of influence. I’m very motivated to tell stories which haven’t been told,” Witherspoon told Glamour magazine, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

However, the 40-year-old actress says she was initially nervous about starting her own business with no previous experience in retail or distribution.

“Starting a new business at the age of 39, not knowing anything about retail, distribution, e-commerce, net sales, I had a huge learning curve. It’s all my own money, all my own time,” she said.
