Big B’s ‘Piku’ clocks one year, ‘Khuda Gawah’ 28 years

ArrayMumbai, May 8 (IANS) Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is in a mood to celebrate on Sunday as his films “Piku” completed one year and “Khuda Gawah” turned 28.

“One year of ‘Piku’: 28 years of ‘Khuda Gawah’,” Amitabh posted.

“Piku” director Shoojit Sircar also took to Twitter to share the news.

He tweeted: “Celebrating one year of ‘Piku’.”

The film starred actors Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan as well.

Big B’s 1992 romance-drama “Khuda Gawah” also starred actress Sridevi.

SRK doesn’t agree with flying early morning

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan says that not even a “sun kiss” justifies flying early in the morning.

SRK took to Twitter to share an image of himself with sun rays falling on his face. He captioned it: “Even a sun kiss doesn’t justify flying so early in the morning and I don’t even want to catch worms!”

The “Fan” star will next be seen on the big screen in “Raees”, which will hit the theatres on Republic Day – January 26 – next year.

Satish Kaushik wraps up shooting for ‘Gunday & Guddiyaa’

Actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik, who will next feature in Anupam Kher and Jimmy Sheirgill-starrer “Gunday & Guddiyaa”, shared that he has completed filming it.

Satish shared images of himself with Anupam while at a shoot and posted on Twitter on Sunday: “Cop SP Choubey and politician Thankur Bhaiya in ‘Gunday & Guddiyaa’…shooting in Ranchi. Finished work for ‘Gunday & Guddiyaa’, actor prepares production. Was shooting for 31 hours with just three-hour sleep, packed up at 3 a.m.”

In the images, Satish can be seen clad in a khaki uniform while Anupam is wearing a bandhgala jacket in shades of green and blue. The backdrop comprises trees, a white car along with people surrounding the two actors.
