Bike Skids in Peruvaje – Youth Dies on Spot
Puttur: Satish, son of Noojaje Narayana Naik and a Journalism graduate from Punchappadi of Peruvaje village in the taluk, died when his bike skidded in Kondeppadi of the same village on Friday, June 24 morning.
He was on his way from Bellare towards Savanoor and tragedy struck him at Kondeppadi. Wet road surface following rains may have caused the mishap.
Thrown to the road, he is said to have sustained heavy head injuries and died soon thereafter.
His sister’s engagement had just taken place on Thursday and the house was full of guests. He had gone to drop his aunt to take a bus to her native place and was on his way back. The atmosphere of joy at home turned into grief.
His body was taken to the government hospital at Sullia, which was closer in distance. After the post-mortem examination, it was handed over to the family.
