BJP Yuva Morcha holds Swachh Bharat Cleanliness Drive in City

Udupi:  To mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi the city BJP Yuva morcha members organised Swachh Bharat Abhiyan drive at the Government hospital premises on October 2.

Members of the BJP Yuva Morcha garlanded the Gandhi statue at Bhujanga Park near Ajjarkadu and later conducted the cleanliness drive at the district Government hospital premises.

The former Udupi MLA Raghupathi Bhat and district BJP president Mattar Rathnakar Hegde inaugurated the programme by cleaning the hospital entrance using the broom. The participants of the drive were enthusiastic and collected garbage and cleared the grass from the hospital premises.

BJP leaders Yashpal Suvarna, Akshith Shetty Herga, Suprasad Shetty, T G Hegde, Kishore Salian, Sathish Shetty Kadiyali, Adarsh Nayak, Deepak Shet, Sandeep Herga, Nikesh Shetty, Deviprasad Shetty, Hemanth Udyavar, Geetha Ravi Shet and others were present.
