Bobbi Kristina was ‘terrified’ of bathing

Los Angeles, June 27 (IANS) Baseball player Nick Gordon has claimed that his late girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown struggled so much with her mother Whitney Houston’s heartbreaking death, she even grew “terrified” of bathing.

Houston and her daughter both passed away after being found unconscious in a bathtub, just three years apart, and Gordon was there on both occasions.

“She (Bobbi Kristina) was too terrified to bathe alone after Whitney passed, we both were. It’s why this is so messed up,” Gordon told The Sun newspaper, reports mirror.co.uk.

Bobbi Kristina spent six months fighting for her life in a coma after she was discovered face-down in a bathtub at the start of 2015.

She died on July 26 of that year, and an autopsy has since ruled that a fatal cocktail of marijuana, alcohol and anxiety drugs led to her drowning.

Now Gordon has claimed he was there when both her, and her mother, passed away – and insisted he gave Bobbi CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) until the ambulance arrived.

“She wasn’t breathing so I gave her mouth-to-mouth. Three minutes in she spat out some water and that motivated me to keep going. It was the hardest and saddest thing I have ever done,” he said.

I’ve a constant need to re-evaluate: McCarthy

Los Angeles, June 27 (IANS) Actress Melissa McCarthy says she “can’t stop picking” at things until they are exactly how she wants.

Asked if she does a good job at being a boss, McCarthy said: “Hopefully, I am good at being a boss. I think I expect a lot from people but I also have a lot of amazing people around me that are always surprising me and always pushing my expectations. I think we all push each other pretty hard.

“I think I am lucky enough to be surrounded by people that aren’t like, ‘Oh, that’s good enough’. None of us think that way. Whether it be in my clothing line, or if I am writing or even if I am acting something, I have a constant need to re-evaluate. I am always a fiddler and I keep thinking ‘I like this, could I love it?’ I can’t stop picking at it,” she told Irish Tatler magazine, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Salma Hayek’s husband is an ‘angel’

Los Angeles, June 27 (IANS) Actress Salma Hayek doesn’t go “very long” without seeing her husband Francois-Henri Pinault and has called him an “angel and a saint”.

Talking about the 54-year-old businessman and her husband, Hayek said: “That one is an angel, a saint. We also never go without seeing each other for very long. I also work around his schedule.”

However, when an acting job comes up that will mean she’s away from her family for long periods. She often turns it down in favour of being at home with her family, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“There was a movie and he said, ‘Go, go, go. I’ll stay with her, we’ll figure it out’. And then in the end, I didn’t go and I’m glad I didn’t because I know that it was too long, too far apart, all the way in America while she was in school. He’s amazing,” she told HELLO! magazine.

Meanwhile, the 49-year-old actress says her husband is a “nice guy” and not a typical “tough” businessman but she worries that he will be “taken advantage of”.

She said: “He’s a nice husband and I think he’s a very different kind of tough businessman. He’s very relaxed. He’s not the kind of person that needs to show at all times that he’s the smartest or he’s the most powerful or the toughest.

“It’s dangerous for some people because they see him being so nice they might think: ‘Oh, I can take advantage of this’.”
