Bus hits parked aircraft at Kolkata airport

Kolkata, Dec 22 (IANS) A Jet Airways shuttle bus on Tuesday rammed into a stationary Air India flight at the city airport here. However, no casualty or injury was reported, an official said.


The bus lost control and collided with the parked aircraft. There were no reports of injury or casualties, the official said.

“A probe was on to ascertain the cause of the mishap,” said the official.

  1. The shuttle bus are limited to only 20 km per hr speed limit. In such conditions how can the driver loose control ? Even if the tyre bursts out, still the shuttle will be under control, no matter what it takes. I am sure the driver of the shuttle was not very vigilent and hence the mishap.
